Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PostSpring handles, why we need it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

PostSpring is a creator publishing service operated in the United Kingdom by Zach Loizou. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@postspringapp.com.

Information we handle

  • App and account information: an installation identifier, connection status, subscription entitlement, and settings needed to provide the service.
  • Connected social accounts: platform account identifiers, usernames, profile details made available by the platform, granted permissions, and encrypted access or refresh tokens.
  • Content you choose to publish: video files, captions, destination choices, visibility settings, and publishing results.
  • Support and safety information: messages you send us and limited technical records needed to diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and protect the service.

PostSpring does not receive your social-platform password or full payment-card details. Social sign-in is handled by the relevant platform, and Apple processes App Store payments.

How we use information

We use this information to connect accounts, carry out publishing instructions, show accurate status, provide subscriptions and support, secure the service, meet legal obligations, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use creator content to train artificial-intelligence models.

Our main legal bases under UK data-protection law are performing our contract with you, your consent when connecting an account or choosing to publish, our legitimate interests in security and service reliability, and compliance with legal obligations.

When information is shared

When you choose a destination, we send the necessary content and instructions to that platform. This may include Meta or Instagram, TikTok, and Google or YouTube. Those companies process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also use carefully selected hosting, storage, security, customer-support, and subscription-processing providers. They may only process information for the services they provide to us and must protect it appropriately. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect users and the service.

Storage and retention

  • Videos remain on your iPhone until you choose to publish.
  • Once publishing is enabled, temporary server copies will be deleted within 24 hours after all selected publishing jobs finish, or within seven days after an interrupted upload.
  • Connection tokens are retained in encrypted form until you disconnect, delete your account, or the token expires and is no longer needed.
  • Publishing records are retained for up to 90 days so you can understand results and we can prevent duplicate posts.
  • Routine security records are retained for up to 30 days unless a longer period is needed to investigate abuse, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal obligation.
  • Support messages may be retained for up to 24 months.

International processing

Social platforms and service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised transfer safeguards or rely on an applicable adequacy regulation. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

Your choices and rights

You can disconnect a social account in PostSpring settings and revoke PostSpring from the platform’s own account controls. You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or provide a copy of your personal information, and you may object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent applies.

You can request deletion through our account and data-deletion page. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Security and children

We use measures including encrypted connection tokens, access controls, limited retention, and secure network connections. No system is completely secure, but we work to prevent unauthorised access, loss, and misuse.

PostSpring is not directed to children. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your location and meet the minimum-age rules of every social platform you connect.

Changes

We will update this page when PostSpring’s practices change. If a change materially affects your rights or how we use information, we will provide appropriate notice in the app or through another available channel.
